Feet melted by tears I slosh them wondering how I became so drenched From the quick travel down my cheek, From the stroke down my collarbone with tenderness Like you had done so tenderly as we laid down in a Broken bed; springs poking, prodding, Warning.
It's very direct- and visceral, with the immediacy of that terrible act still fresh in your mind even now, still being relived, through such powerful words. The pain is still present obviously, but perhaps the light of day shining upon it like this, through poems that you post, will one day allow you to let go of the pain forever. I hope that is possible,
Mm.. yeah I hope so too. I don't really know what you think this is about though. It's about my breakup. I know one day will be better. Perhaps when everything is solved. I'd just rather cry out my veins in my poetry than in other ways.
